He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson and Mabel Newland (Hern); and his wife Rebecca Ann Bryan August. He is survived by: his children, Mark Brian Newland (Beth Natali) of Westerville and Elizabeth Kaye Brill (Tom) of Barnesville; his grandchildren, Lauren Reese (Cory), Bryan Newland, Seth Newland, Ben Newland, Amy Smith (Heath) and Beth Ann Starr (Jeremy); and his sister Judith A. Wilcox of Marion, Ohio.. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
