Jeffery Daniel Ellebruch, 51, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
Jeff was born on Monday, July 20, 1970, in Akron, Ohio, as the first child of Daniel and Deborah (Mallison) Ellebruch.
Jeff grew up in Copley, Ohio, and attended Copley – Fairlawn Schools, graduating from Copley High School in 1988. Jeff played two years of football in high school and sang in the choir. Jeff obtained Life rank in the Boy Scouts and always loved attending the Klondike winter camp out. Jeff loved the outdoors and EVERYTHING to do with it, mostly hunting, hiking, camping and a really nice campfire.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Heather (McKenzie) Ellebruch; his always supportive parents, Dan & Debbie Ellebruch, of Norton. The Force is Strong between his siblings, Andy (Kelley) Ellebruch, of Medina; Joe (Josi) Ellebruch, of Copley; and Katie (Mike) Kolar, of Barberton. Jeff was blessed and most proud of the four children he had with his previous wife Heather Sipos Chik; Drew (Brooke Walker) Ellebruch, of Norton; Jake (Mariah Garrett) Ellebruch, of Barberton and their twins Nic Ellebruch, of Doylestown and Olivia Ellebruch, of Akron.
Jeff had six beautiful grandchildren, whom he adored with all his heart - Harper, Andrew Jr., Travis, Ace, Kaia & Kenna.
He was affectionately known as "Uncle Jeffy" to his eight very special nieces and nephews - Logan, Madi, Emily, Mia, Judah, Joey, Maria & Silas. He had a very special bond with all of them, especially when they were babies.
Jeff is also survived by his wife's children, Hannah (Patrick) Stinson, and Derek Scott of Barberton; and his mother and father-in-law, Mike (Colleen) McKenzie, of Barberton.
He had many special uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends, especially his best friend, Uncle Tim Mallison. And last but not least, we could never forget his loyal dogs, Abraham & Moxie. .
