Elwood Palmer Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Palmer and Aleia Palmer; his sister-in-law Alfreda Meadows; and his brother Garfield Rackley. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Palmer (Meadows); his children, Tracie Oden, Charisse Palmer, Dr. Anthony Palmer (Beth), Aris Sutton (Albert) and Kindell May (late Rommell); his grandchildren, Morgan Palmer, Amari Sutton, Jocelyn May, Arion Sutton, Caden Palmer, Zoe Palmer, Ty Palmer, Aaren Sutton and Elijah May; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Meadows (late Theresa) and Alicia Meadows. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

While he remained an active lifetime member of the Barberton NAACP, some of his other noteworthy accomplishments were sitting on various boards such as Barberton Community Foundation, Summa Barberton Hospital, and Barberton Teen Center.
