She was predeceased by: her parents, John Barbor and Beatrice Barbor; her daughter Diane Walker; her great grandchild Madeline; her son-in-law Donald Mitchell; and her brothers, William, Clarence and Ralph Barbor.
She is survived by: her husband Helmut Schindler; her children, Robert Walker (Sandy) of Wellington, Lisa Mitchell of Elyria, Jeff Walker (Susan) of Wellington and Mark Walker (Sabine) of Amherst; and her grandchildren, Michelle White, Melissa Walker, Brooke Bradstock, Robin Polan, Jennifer Mitchell, Jeff, Monica Walker, Pia and Nico Walker. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
