Josephine Dear Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2018, Josephine Dear (Arcanum, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Morningstar and Kathryn Morningstar; her former husband Robert A. Smith; her husband Clifford Dear; and her children, Robert C. Smith and Carl Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Steve Smith (Kathy), Kirk Smith (Lois) and Ginny Daugherty (Dean); her grandchildren, Erica Livingston (Sean), Tyler Smith (Jen), Melissa Harter, Robert Smith (Ashley), Randy Daugherty (Kellie) and Danny Chrysler; her great grandchildren, Jayden, Sofia, Alex, Madison, Caleb, Mackenzie, Brooke, Andrew, Hank, Emma Josephine, Oliver, Payton, Cooper and Caiden; her brother Harold "Butch" Morningstar; and her close friend Betty Daugherty. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.
