He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Dawson and Dora Mae Dawson (DeHart); his wife Anna Lee Dawson; and his siblings, Luther, Bill, Ed, Carl, Eldridge, Bob, Harlen Dawson, Dora Mae Hall and Helen Howard.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne, Nancy Baker of Greenville, Linda, Steve Nixon of Greenville, Sherry and Mark Echeman of Greenville; and his sister Joann Sumler of Bethel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association, the Cancer Association of Darke County or the Shriners Children's Hospital.
