He is survived by: his wife Therese Prenger; his children, Rita Rethman, Linda Osterloh, Jim (Renee Schmidt) and Janet (Daryl Bowling); his grandchildren, Brian Rethman, Sarah (Eric Heitkamp), Travis Osterloh, Brad Osterloh, Andrew Schmidt, Taylor Schmidt, Austin Bowling and Logan Bowling; his great grandchildren, Ellie Heitkamp and Clayton Heitkamp; his siblings, Clete (Irene Schmidt), Carol Schmidt, Dave (Alice Schmidt), Ron (Linda Schmidt), Mary Ann (Jerry Knapke) and Celina; and his parents-in-law, Mary Ann Lefeld, Ralph, Ruth Prenger, Alma Meyer, Clete and Roseann Prenger. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
