He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Leckrone and Faye Leckrone (Clark); his wife Dolores C. "Dee" (Drompp); his son Dennis J. Leckrone; and his siblings, Joyce Hilditch and William Leckrone.
He is survived by: his children, David P. Leckrone (Xiuying) of Sandusky, OH, Dale A. Leckrone of Huron, OH and Susan D. Leckrone of Sarasota, FL; his granddaughters, Jessica Branagan, Jacklyn Leckrone, McKenna Leckrone, Allison Leckrone, Angie Leckrone and Sanli Leckrone; and his sister Marge Dunkin of Middleburg Heights, OH.. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
