He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Burt and Lois Burt (Harris); his daughter Melanie Jean; his brother Charles Burt (Chuck); and his grandson Jacob Mitchell Rizzo.
He is survived by: his children, Bradfield Garland and Andrew Guy; his wife Sherron Marie Piper; his sons, Brad and Andy; and his grandchildren, Cody G Burt, Ashlee Burt, Cody A Charvat, Kyleigh Burt, Taeler Charvat and Kirstyn Burt.
