He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Specht and Minnie E. Specht (Biscoff); his son Charles Fisher; and his brother Jack Specht. He is survived by: his wife Audrey M. Specht (Clark); his children, Cheri Presser of Columbia, SC, Rick Fisher of Saint Cloud, FL, Mary Specht (Richard Renie) of Mansfield, OH, Julie Bidwell (Steve) of Dryer, IN, Jeff Specht of Andover, Sonia Haynes of Canal Winchester, OH and Joseph Specht (Jill) of Monroe, OH; and his brother Jim Specht of Roanoke, VA. He is also survived by his 22 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
