He is survived by: his wife Shirley Taft; his children, James "Chic" Taft Jr. (Bonnie) of Harrodsburg and Connie French (Bob) of Andover, Ohio; his grandchildren, Melissa, Tim, Bill, Jimmy, Jonathan, Marcus and Janna; his great grandchildren, Kathryn, Jack, Gabrielle, Dillon, Alicia, Billy, Brayden, Maggie, Gavin and Garrett; his siblings, Mary Boban (Arnold) of Springboro, Dorothy Parish (Bud) of San Jacinto, Beatrice Cunningham of Columbus, Donna Johns of McDonald, Pennsylvania and Frank Taft (Barbara) of Geneva; and his brothers-in-law, Bill O'Neill, Daniel Kleves and Richard Keppler.
