He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguiette Emma (Hackathorn) and Elmo; his wife Susan F. Fink; his siblings, Jean Mihm and William Sparks; and his grandson David James Fink.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Fink, Jr. and Fink, Sr.; his sons, Alan D. Fink of Conneaut, Donald A. Fink of Saybrook, Robert M. Fink, Sr. (Cassandra) of Williamsfield, Eric G. Fink of Saybrook and Franklin D. Fink of Sheffield, Ohio; his stepchildren, Lois E. DeMoss of Jefferson, Ohio, Dean W. Clark, Jr. of Thompson and James W. Clark (Tarah) of Dorset, Ohio; and his brothers, James Sparks (Vickie) of Jacksonville and Jerry Sparks (Beth) of Saybrook, Ohio. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and a nephew.
