She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Sowards and Willie Sowards; her son John Mills; and her brother Jack Sowards. She is survived by: her children, Michael Bentley (Karen), Mark Bentley (Tina), Misty Cresap (Tim), Megan Mills, Judy Tuepker and Greg Mills; her grandchildren, Bryan, Ellen, Manny, Matt, Michelle, Mitchell, Melanie, Maggie, Mason and Madelyn; her great grandchildren, Bryson, Zoey, Zander, Willow, Jackson and Evangelyn; and her siblings, Cuba Gibson (Don) and Bill Sowards (Judy).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Heartland Hospice.
