He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Buryl Wharton and Ruth Ellen Wharton (Loy); his grandparents, Buryl Wharton, Anna Wharton (Moyer), Jennings Loy and Mary Opal Loy (Dennison); and his cousins, Timothy Keller, Robert and Loy, Jr..
He is survived by: his friends, Chip Elder and Jay Sandy; his aunt Carolyn; and his uncle Daniel Wharton of Amanda.
In accordance with State mandates, COVID Protocols including facial coverings and social distancing will be followed.
In lieu of flowers, the family urges that donations be made to Heartland Hospice.
