It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Pontius of Amanda, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on December 5, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dennis and Carolyn Dennis; her husband Norman Pontius Jr.; her son Ronald Pontius; and her siblings-in-law, Harold (Maxine), Jim (Martha), Robert Pontius and Mary Ellen Forquer.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Pontius (Sheryl) and Nancy Goldsberry (Mike); and her grandchildren, Tiffany Pontius, Heather Pontius, Kevin Pontius, Natalie Pontius, Jennifer Leach (Matt), Jodie Dossman (John) and Julie Apthorpe (Michael). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
