He was predeceased by: his mother Jenny Meranda; his wife Phyllis Meranda; and his siblings, Richard, Howard Meranda (Margene), Kathleen and Faye Meranda.
He is survived by: his father Gail Meranda; his children, Carmen Meranda and Rodney Meranda (Darla); his brother Larry Meranda (Jeralyn); and his grandchildren, Shannon Estep (Shane), Samantha Meranda (Jim Peplowski), Jenna Meranda and Jess Meranda (Molly). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
