He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Allan Reid and Linda Reid (Ruff). He is survived by: his wife Susan Reid (McCandlish); his children, Alex Reid (Brittany), Austin Reid (Heather) and Audra Reid; his siblings, Debbie Cox (Frank) and Craig Reid (Ericka); and his pet Scruffie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
