With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Edward Chapman in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on October 28, 2023 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Edward Chapman to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Chapman and Jessie Chapman (Snyder); his grandson Zachary; his great grandchild Hunter; his siblings, Helen, Ed, Betty, Eleanor, Bo, Babe, Sis, Joe, Kenny and Sue; and his close friend Harold Fowler.

He is survived by: his wife Eileen Chapman; his children, Jane Fotta, Julie Sprowl (Roger), Deanna Chapman, Tim Chapman (Barb), Keith Chapman (Sheila) and Amy Campbell (John); his sister Nancy Heaton; his sister-in-law Vicki Chapman; and his pets, Felix, Yeller and Miss Kitty. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holmes County Share Christmas at the funeral home.
