He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dottie"; his son William J Choate (Amy); his brothers, Jimmy Choate, John Choate (Melissa) and Jeff Stone (Youngsun); his sister-in-law Karen Choate; his stepchildren, Angela Patterson (Michael), Eric Myers and Matthew Myers; his stepgrandsons, Robert Smith (Stephanie), Andy Smith and Michael Patterson; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Grace, Jacob and Kayden Smith; his friends, Pam and Dwight Robinson; and also Jay Wenger.
