He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley Johnson and Hallie Johnson (Eldridge); his former wife Betty; his wife Helen; and his siblings, Richard Johnson, J. P. Johnson, Mary Johnson, Scott Johnson (Ruby), Marie Philpot (Delmas), Pearl Johnson, Jack Johnson (Arlene), Sue Deems (Don) and Anna Ruth.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Johnson (Sally), Rick Johnson (Sandy) and Connie Gray (Darrell); his stepchildren, Janice Martinez (Victor), Joetta Johnson, Jerald Johnston (Sheila) and James Johnston (Susan); and his siblings, Riley Johnson (Wilma), Rose Mae Haynes (Jim) and Eileen Clemons (Charles). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grand children, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
