She was predeceased by: her husband James Burney Sr.; her parents, Lunnie Carroll and Willie Carroll (James Burney Sr.); her children, Ronnie Burney, Anthony Burney, James Burney Jr. and Antoinette Burney; and her sisters, Christine Simon, Doris Rogers, Jeanette Conley and Wilie Mae Hooks.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Clark (Herbert) and Oscar Burney (Charisse); and her siblings, Bernice Mitchell (Charlie) and Fred Carroll. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, several sister and brother in laws, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
