He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Ottmann (Sebastian) and Julie Danielson (Jeff); his grandchildren, Maya, Tristen, Jacob Ottmann, Raedi and Brooks Danielson; his former wife Sue; his significant other Carol Deeser; his brother Tom Whitehurst (Marie-Ilene); his nephew Thomas; his niece Christina Ward (Chris); his close friend Jim Miller; his friend Ginger; and his caregiver Pat Caprez.
