It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet M. (Wassity) DasVarma of Akron, Ohio, who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wassity and Edith Wassity; and her sister Jacqueline Grosso. She is survived by: her husband Ranendra "Ron" DasVarma; her children, Julie Pfeiffer (Thomas) of Coral Gables, FL, Jay DasVarma of Baltimore, MD and Robby DasVarma of Covington, KY; her grandchildren, Grant and Amanda Pfeiffer; and her sisters, Jean Hoff (Charles) of Fairlawn and Judy Craver of Akron. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
