With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen M. Sowash (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on December 8, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Sowash; and her sons, Jeffrey and Daniel Sowash. She is survived by: her daughter Kathryn Myers (Ray); her grandchildren, Caleb, Noah, Charlie Sowash, Justin Myers and Stephanie Hicks; her great grandchildren, Payton, Anthony, Kaylani and JJ; her sister Verna Byers; and her siblings-in-law, Charlotte Wilson, Bob Sowash (Diana) and Bill Sowash (Sandy).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ellen's memory are suggested to Grace Baptist Church, 704 N Firestone Blvd, Akron, OH 44306.
