He is survived by: his wife Thelma E. Sloan; his son Tommy Sloan; his granddaughter Sarah Sloan (Clayton King); his great grandchild Selah Sloan; his granddaughter Brandy Klouse; his great grandchildren, Hailey and Chloe Klouse; his grandchildren, Jesse Sloan and Olivia Sloan; his daughter Terri Moncrief (Dale); his grandchildren, Lindsey Bisconti (Toni) and Taylor Moncrief (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Andrew, Edith and Bridget; his grandson Mackenzie Moncrief; his son Bobby Sloan (Heidi); his grandchildren, Jake and Hannah Sloan; his daughter Andrea Cowgar; his grandchildren, Reese and Theron Cowgar; his stepsons, Ryan Minnier (Erin) and Joshua Minnier (Kristin); his stepgranddaughter Alyssa Minnier; his sister Jane Davis; and his sisters-in-law, Arnita Sloan, Delores Sloan and Connie Sloan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home - Akron Chapel (1990 S Main St, Akron, OH 44301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (2580 Romig Rd, Akron, OH 44320). A reception will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home - Akron Chapel (1990 S Main St, Akron, OH 44301).
