He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter D. Reed and Viola Alford Reed; his siblings, Paul Reed, Lucille Zaborowski and Shirley O'Dell; and his daughter-in-law Elaine Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia J. McDorman; his children, Paul E. Reed (Aleta) of Martville, Daniel O. Reed (Konnie) of Wolcott, Joanne M. Rhode (Frank) of Sackets Harbor and Robert W. Reed (Brigette) of Wolcott; and his grandchildren, Steven Reed, Christina Pople (William), Andrea Williamson (Wayne), Sam Reed, Natalie Pitzer (Michael), Benjamin Rhode (Sara), Meredith Rhode, Charles Rhode, Allison Pastor (Nelson), William Reed and Clayton Reed. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
