He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Burgess Sr. and Mary Wallace Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Karen Flint Burgess; his sons, Joel Burgess (Connie) of Barneveld, Andrew Burgess (Valerie) of Uniontown, PA and Luke Burgess (Lori) of Fair Haven; and his siblings, Kenneth Burgess (Sally), Jacqueline Roets of Newark and Carol Freeman of Indianapolis, IN.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great- grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
