She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie "Josh" Dean and Doris Dean (Cohoon); and her siblings, Timothy Dean, John Dean and Carolyn Harper.

She is survived by: her husband Richard "Wilson" Benwitz; her children, Lori Diver and Daniel Hall; her stepdaughters, Candace Gilpatric and Jeanine Santelli; and her brother Brian Dean.
