She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Gowers; her siblings, Rita Horning, Arlene Howland, Gloria Offenburg, Helen Bush, Bob, Dick and Donald "Butch" Fennessy; her son-in-law Stephen Galvin; and her great grandchild Christopher.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Galvin (Steve Smith) of North Rose, Bonnie Bates (Scott) of Rose, Kathy Sanzotta (Mark) of Red Creek and Robert Gowers of Wolcott; her siblings, Jean Carter, Tom Fennessy and Bruce Fennessy; her sister-in-law Jean Fennessy; and her grandchildren, Dan Fitzmaurice, Brian Fitzmaurice (Lisa), Karen Williams (Zach), Evan Gowers, Doug Bates, Matt Bates (Aurora), Danielle Sanzotta and Nicole King (Jim). She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
