He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Gabel and Emma Wallace Gabel; his sister Barbara Gabel; and his brother-in-law Daniel Drabinski. He is survived by: his wife Monica Gabel; his children, Leon C. Gabel of Wolcott, William Gabel of Wolcott, Christopher Gabel (Shasta) of Fulton and Melisa Stevens (Matthew) of Oswego; his siblings, Johnny Gabel (Dorothy) of Webster, Jerry Gabel of Webster, Carol Drabinski of Ontario and Kathy Kaczmarskj (Oryst) of Florida; and his grandchildren, Grace Gabel, Lilybeth Stevens, Hannah Gabel, Joshua Gabel and Sarah Stevens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
