She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Short and Clara Pluff Short; and her sister Grace Bristol. She is survived by: her husband Richard C. Wheeler; her sons, Richard F. Wheeler (Melissia) of Wolcott and Steve Wheeler (Kathy) of Waterloo; and her grandchildren, Alexandra Wheeler, Claudia Wheeler, Abigail Wheeler and Beibei Wheeler. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
