She was predeceased by: her husband Glenn Arthur Chapin; her children, Glenn Robert Chapin (Judith Mitchell Chapin) and Diana Sue Chapin; her mother Irene Deal Nearpass Neal; her stepfather Delos Neal; her siblings, Maynard Nearpass, Merven Nearpass, Margaret Radley Abdella, Anna DeWall and Agnes Kline Gee; and her sister-in-law Carol Wheeler (Ira).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Heather O'Brien (Todd), Robyn Bridson (Dan), Nathan Chapin (Celeste), Adam Chapin, James Schley (Danielle), Glenn Schley (Bridget), Seth Burgess (Jessica), Joseph Burgess (Laura), Michael Chapin, Kara Chapin, Kelly Romine (Jay), Christopher Chapin (Prianka), Shaina Chapin (Jon Coleman), Andrew Gaylord and Grace Gaylord.
