He was predeceased by: his mother June; and his brother William. He is survived by: his sisters, Eppie Ufholz (John) and Penny MacDougall; his sister-in-law Pat MacDougall; his nephews, Paul MacDougall, Sean and Spencer; his niece Heather Luther (Scotty); his great-nephews, Syrus and Eligh; and his aunt Lois Groot.

In lieu of flowers one may donate to an organization of choice.
