She was predeceased by: her parents, Merton Brotherton and Ella Brotherton (Clifton); her husband Theodore Alguire; and her siblings, Donald Brotherton and Muriel Gates.

She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Alguire (Brittney) of Queensbury and Kelly Augustin (John) of Lowell, NC; her half-sisters, Shirley Bothwell and Dolly Bullard; and her close friend Sharon Hamilton. She is also survived by her eight grandsons; four granddaughters; one great-granddaughter and two great grandchildren.
