He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter A. Sprague and Maude E Borden Sprague; his wife Nellie; his sisters, Lu Anne Benjamin and Ellen Stephens; his son Joseph Sprague; and his son-in-law Ronald DenHaese.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Sprague (Susan) of West Winfield, Jeffrey Sprague (Michelle) of Burlington Flats, Sharon Barbano (Anthony) of Oneida and Sheila DenHaese of Oneida; his daughter-in-law Elaine Sprague of West Winfield; his grandchildren, Nicholas Barbano (Ashlee), Jaclyn Haines (Justin), Ashley Sprague and Ryan Sprague; his great grandchildren, Everly, Michael, Brynn and Lylah; and his sister Connie Sprague of Binghamton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
