He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle B. Carlin and Leona Bell Carlin (Carney); his wife Rita Kirkey; his daughter Kelly Sue Carlin; his brother Larry Carlin; and his nephew Kurt Kirkey.
He is survived by: his children, Amber Stocum (Dennis) of Friendship, Michelle Stocum (Mike) of Corning, Cammi Granato (Robert) of Auburn and Ronny Carlin (Karina) of Friendship; his grandchildren, Jared, Shannon, Serena, Ashley, Michael, Quinn, Raychel, Kaiyia, Ronny Jr., Fred, Amanda, Kyle and Kaleb; his brother Dale Carlin (Jeannine) of Cuba; his niece Michele Garcia (Fernando) of Oceanside, CA; and his pet John. He is also survived by forty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
