She was predeceased by: her parents, George Atherton and Vanche Atherton (Black); her former husband Harold D. Marsh; her brother Clifford L. Atherton of Belfast, NY; her stepdaughter Donna Dixon (Charles) of Wellsville; and her grandsons, Kevin J. Kocher and Newell Kocher.
She is survived by: her husband Newell Potter; her stepdaughter Mary Gates (Fred) of Fort Royal; her grandchildren, Helen Evans (Joel) of Angelica, NY, Lynn Dixon (Connie) of Wellsville, NY, Lynda Bennett (Ron) of Fort Royal, Virginia and Jim Kocher (Mary) of Singer Island; her niece Melva Rice (Phil) of Belfast, NY; and her nephew Kenneth Atherton (Patricia) of Belfast, NY.. She is also survived by her many great-grandchildren, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great grandchildren.
