She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Blass and Willhelmina Rossman Blass; her husband Leroy Forbes; her daughter Joyce Forbes; her grandson Mike Murphy; and her siblings, Violet Carp and Glenn Blass.

She is survived by: her children, Arthur Forbes (Anna), Floyd Forbes (Linda), Nancy Alcock (Dan), Shirley Hayes, Theresa Murphy, Sandra Ray (Wayne), Roger Forbes (Shirley), Hazel Lee (Kenny), Carol Bennett, Gary Forbes (Linda), Walter Forbes (Betty) and Rosemary Sherman (Bruce). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Contributions in Sarah's memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
