He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Phillip Stever and Dorothy Stever; his wife Mary; his children, Phillip J Stever (Beckah) and Elizabeth Stever (Joshua); and his siblings, John Stever (Kristi), Lynne Nelson (Scott), Douglas Stever (Karen), Barbara Mulhall (Timothy) and Bradley Stever (Rachel). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Upstate NY chapter.
