He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Gable and Victoria Gable; his wife Carlyn Gable; his daughters, Jennifer Friend (John Friend) and Anne Gable (Jeff Lee); his grandchildren, Charles Friend, Victoria Friend, Owen Friend, Eliza Friend, Colin Lee and Erin Lee; his sister Margaret Fernan; his nephew David Fernan; and his nieces, Barbara Monaco and Amy Conmy.
