She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas E. Higley and June Shellard Higley; her brother Thomas M. Higley; and her brother-in-law John Ephlin. She is survived by: her husband Charles Halton; her son-in-law Dr. John Kraft of Horseheads, NY; her son Dr. Benjamin T. Halton; her son-in-law Jeffrey DeHart of Abington, PA; her sister Rosemary Ephlin of Sayre; her sister-in-law Karen Higley of Athens; and her grandchildren, Ella, Beckett and Sullivan Kraft. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
