He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl and Evelyn Bryfogle Geiger Sr.; his stepmother Fran Geiger; his parents-in-law, Charles and Jeanette Stanton; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Geiger.

He is survived by: his wife Diane Geiger of Waverly; his daughters, Renee Geiger of Waverly and Aimee McClellan (Scott) of Waverly; and his brothers, Earl L. Geiger Jr. (Ester) of Sayre, Ron Geiger (Joyce) of Athens and Robert Geiger of Sayre. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
