She was predeceased by: her parents, John Swinko and Verna Swinko; her husband Michael Steck; and her siblings, John, Leonard, Mary, Ann, Helen and Rose.

She is survived by: her son Michael Steck (Mary Ellen) of Waverly; her grandchildren, Kimberly Spallone (Robert) and Patrick (P. J.); her great grandchildren, Devon, Niccole Spallone, Natalie and Brianna Steck; her great great grandchild Giavanna Lane; and her siblings, Dorothy Restino (Dishy) of Binghamton and Terry Schiavone of Baltimore, Maryland. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
