He was predeceased by: his wife Alice (Knecht); his parents, Charles Splain and Edna Splain of Sayre; and his siblings, Arlene Ogden and Bobby.
He is survived by: his brother Danny; his daughters, Vicki Rosenthal (Jim Smith) and Sherry Maher (Dean Maher); his grandchildren, Douglas Maher, Jake Rosenthal and Heather Hall (Maher); and his great grandchildren, Austin, Tyler Maher, Lucas and Noah Rosenthal.
