He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Simons and Edna Mae Simons (Yaples); his wife Elsie Hayton Simons; and his siblings, Charles Simons, Kenneth Simons, Marion Simons, Lillian Simons, Kathryn Stachowski and Margaret Spencer.
He is survived by: his siblings, Arlene Sampson of Waverly, NY and James Simons of Waverly, NY; his children, David Simons (Marie) of Branford, CT, Mark Simons (Elaine) of Waverly, NY and Donna Hubbard of Barton, NY; and his grandchildren, Nicole Cordero of Milford, CT, Erica Baylor (Ken) of Westlake, FL, Brittany Morazes (Allan) of Ansonia, CT, April Treadu of Tioga Center, NY and Tommy Leonard (Eileen) of Waverly, NY. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
