He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James McMinds and Catherine McMinds (Troy); his wife Marlene Ackley of Watkins Glen; his daughters, Courtney Miller (Brent) of Watkins Glen and Megan McMinds (Ryan Swank) of Watkins Glen; his siblings, Joan McMinds (Allen), Jenny Brown, James McMinds (Mary) and Jeff McMinds (Patti); and his sister-in-law Cherri McMinds.
