He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Dixon and Flossie Dixon; and his siblings, Elnora Leitner, Jerry, Charles and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Dixon; his children, James A. Dixon Jr and Rose Pastore (Jeff); his grandchildren, Joshua Dixon, Justin Dixon, Jason S. and Erica Smith; and his siblings, Donald Dixon (Kim), Marilyn Dixon Parmelie, Janet Dixon Smart, Elsie Dixon Penaloza and Penny Putman (Frank). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
