He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Oeffler and Frederick Oeffler; his siblings, Jimmy, Johnny Oeffler and Theresa Rychcik (John); and his sisters-in-law, Bea Oeffler and Tami Picarillo.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Oeffler (Picarillo); his children, Michelle Oeffler (Darwin), Danielle Dawson (John) and Scott Oeffler; his granddaughters, Kyra (Joseph), Ava, Sydney, Novalee Oeffler and Tamara Dawson; his brothers, Frederick Oeffler and Edward Oeffler; and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Oeffler, Lori Picarillo, Kerri Yarter (Kyle), Vicki Buchanan (Jerry), Judy Cummins (Kem), Gina Picarillo and Michael Picarillo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
