He is survived by: his parents, Donald Macdonald and Betty Jo Macdonald; his sisters, Kathy Whalen (Jim), Lynn Rivers (Tom Derion) and Janis Koshgarian (Bob); and his nieces and nephews, Shawn Rivers (Brittany), Erica Rivers, Jim Whalen (Tristine), Lindsey Duclos (Tom), Lauren Aguera (Luke) and Alex Koshgarian (Lia). He is also survived by six great nieces and nephews.
