He was predeceased by: his parents, Sue Willoughby and Robert McMahon. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Amy Holland of Milford, Rebecca McMahon (Gabe Tobbe) of Greenfield, Michele Smithers of Watertown and James David McMahon, Jr. of Milford; his siblings, Barri Caruso (Tony) of Georgia, Kathy Jackson (Dale) of Colorado, Josephine McMahon of New Hampshire and Robert McMahon (Anne) of New Hampshire; and his grandchildren, Bayley Madden, Aidan King, Nolan, Tristan, Maddox, Sofia Smithers, Abigail, William Tobbe, Devin, Kip Holland, Kayann, Mileigh and Christian Gunn.
